Parent-child Workshop

To further publicise the cultural value of the Maritime Silk Road and to enhance the understanding, support and involvement of the heritage inscription among the public, the Cultural Affairs Bureau will organise a series of activities between November and December in conjunction with the “Maritime Silk Road” International Cultural Forum. These activities include guided tours, parent-child workshops, and web-based games with prizes of souvenirs, allowing the public to learn more about the maritime silk route via different enjoyable events.

Texture Painting Parent-Child Workshop:

In texture painting, we use different materials, tools and techniques to create an image of structure and texture. With the theme as the Maritime Silk Road, the workshop allows you to create a unique and exquisite painting.

Clay Painting Parent-Child Workshop:

Clay painting is made of clay, which can be colour-mixed freely and has malleable surface texture, resulting in oil-painting-like colour and lustre. Themed on the Maritime Silk Road, the workshop allows you to create a unique and exquisite painting.
