Guidelines
Free guided tours can be made for schools or groups of 15 people or above and should be made no less than 15 working days prior to the requested visit date.
Target:
School Guided Tours: All registered kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and universities of Macau.
Guided Tours for Groups: All registered non-profit organizations of Macau.
Language:
Cantonese or Mandarin
Number of participants:
Each session is limited to the maximum of 30 people。
Application Method
The reservation should be submitted at least 15 working days prior to the requested visit date by the following ways:
Online Tour Booking: Please click “Guided Tour Online Booking” on the right side and login your “Macao One Account”. Complete the application form and attach the relevant certified documents and click submit. When you complete the online booking, the booking status will be shown on the page of “Check My Online Booking Status”. The confirmation results will receive within 10 working days, from the day of receiving the request. Visit arrangements are made according to the chorological order of the applications. Please bring the booking confirmation with you on the visit day.
Application Form: Please download and complete the form and submit it by fax (+853) 2836 6836 or to the Department of Cultural Heritage office in Rua de Sanches de Miranda, No. 5 – 7. We will reply within 10 working days by e-mail, from the day of receiving the request. Visit arrangements are made according to the chorological order of the applications. Please bring the booking confirmation with you on the visit day.
Alterations and Cancellation
Reservations can be modified or cancelled. Please inform about any alterations at least 3 days prior to the day of the visit, regardless of the status of the application (confirmed, or to be confirmed) by telephone (+853) 8590 4344 or by e-mail WHDocent@icm.gov.mo.
Please arrive at the visit place on time so as not to affect the visit arrangements. If late than 15 minutes, the reservation will be cancelled.
Special Arrangements Under Inclement Weather Conditions
Guided tours will be cancelled during the following inclement weather conditions, if the following signals are hoisted: typhoon signal no.3 or above, rainstorm signal, thunderstorm signal; if the mentioned signals are lowered 2 hours prior to the scheduled guided tour session, the visit will be held as scheduled;
Additional Special Conditions for School: Guided tours will be cancelled should the D.S.E.J. announce any class suspension notices;
Visitors can decide if they should cancel their reservation in case of other inclement weather conditions. For cancellation, please contact (+853) 8590 4344 at least 1 hour prior to your visit;
For guided tours that are cancelled due to the above conditions, please contact the (+853) 2836 6836 in order to re-arrange an alternative guided tour schedule.
The IC reserves the right to make any adjustments to any scheduled guided tours as necessary.
