The Temple of Fok Tak (Rua do Almirante Sérgio) was constructed in 1868 and rebuilt in 1871, respectively during the 7th and 10th years of the reign of Emperor Tongzhi in the Qing dynasty. In 1914, in the period of the Republic of China, it was again restored. The main altar of the temple is dedicated to Fok Tak (Earth God), while the side altars are dedicated to the Northern Emperor ("Pak Tai" in Cantonese) and to the A-Ma Goddess ("Tin Hau" in Cantonese). Furthermore, the temple also houses a large number of tablets, couplets, wooden panels and altar tables that were donated by the people from the local neighbourhood over the years.

Architectural characteristics:
The Temple of Fok Tak (Rua do Almirante Sérgio) is the only temple in Macao that is integrated alongside a sequence of street arcades.
