MT008-Temple of Kuan Tai and Tin Hau

The temple was constructed between 1662-1723. Couplets dating back to 1837 recall the temple’s history.

Architectural characteristics:
This fairly small temple has three chambers. The central chamber is the Hall of Kuan Tai (God of Loyalty and Bravery), to the right is the Temple of the Goddess Tin Hau (Goddess of Heaven) and a room for the temple keeper is on the left side. Although there are two different entrances for the Hall of Kuan Tai and the Temple of Tin Hau, there is an interconnecting corridor.
