MT003-Kun Iam Temple (Estrada Nordeste in Taipa)

The temple was constructed in around 1871.

Architectural characteristics:
Kun Iam Small Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kun Iam (Goddess of Mercy). It was constructed on a hill to have a good vantage point overlooking the sea and the Macao Peninsula. The temple consists of a front hall, a rear chamber and a statue of the Goddess Kun Iam is erected inside a stone cave inside the temple.
