Taking into consideration that the intangible cultural heritage is an important cultural resource of Macao, which must be protected and shared, and in accordance with article 79 of the Cultural Heritage Protection Law, IC promoted a public consultation, from 13 March to 11 April 2019, and contacted the Cultural Heritage Committee to know their respective technical opinions, about the 12 items that had been recommended for inscription on the List. During that period, all sectors of the community actively participated and provided valuable comments. After organizing and analysis of the gathered opinions, IC completed the Summary Report of the Public Consultation about the Items to be Inscribed on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, which was published on 8 October 2019. The great majority of the public agreed on the value of the 12 items and the proposal to add them on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. After a comprehensive analysis of the gatehred opinions from the public, and taking into consideration the technical opinions by Cultural Heritage Committee, in accordance with the Cultural Heritage Protection Law, IC presented the proposal for the inscription of those items on the List, which was published in the Macao SAR Gazette, after approval by the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture.

6. Belief and Customs of Na Tcha
7. Festival of the Drunken Dragon
8. Procession of the Passion of Our Lord the God Jesus
9. Procession of Our Lady of Fátima
11. Religious Woodcarving Figures
In the future, IC will continue to inscribe other relevant items that fulfill the necessary criteria on the List, in order to protect the intangible cultural heritage that is of significant value to Macao.
